Galaxy Roadshow - Our Profile
I first became involved with discos in 1970, at the age of 11, when I began by working for Zodiac disco which was based in Ledbury, Herefordshire. The owner was the drummer of the Cheltenham based band, 9.30 Fly, who gigged throughout the Herefordshire area. It was due to this that I soon found myself attending these events, playing vinyl in those early days, also providing the backing music at small festivals throughout the 1970's.
After 5 years, the owner decided to commit full time to his band, which led to me being approached by another Ledbury based disco, called Purple Ice. For the next 4 years I gained an enormous amount of experience working for this extremely busy disco. Unfortunately, after 4 years the owner decided that due to his work commitments he could no longer continue.
It was at this time that I was approached by another disco called Audiosonic, and after 2 years working for them, I purchased it from the owner. This was my first disco, of which I had total control, bringing my vast store of knowledge and experience, accumulated from working within the music scene, entertaining clients throughout the 70's and now into the 80's

In the late 80's I rebuilt my disco, invested heavily in state of the art technology and tracks, renamed it Galaxy Roadshow and moved to Malvern.
Since the 1980's I have provided discos for many local Young Farmers groups, several Hells Angel summer festivals, large outdoor raves, and provided warm up sessions for radio station DJ's and bands. I also have a smaller disco with which I have provided the entertainment at many functions at Ledbury Community Centre and Little Lakes Golf Course, Bewdley, where I held the entertainment contract for 2 years, until the Manager moved away. Malvern Rugby Club, Ledbury Town Football Club, Malvern Hills Colleges, Malvern Hills District Council , and many of the local School Proms, Dyson Perrins High School and Elgar High School, to name but a few, the list is endless.

I carry over 50,000 tracks, which combined with my vast experience, I believe enables me to cater to any taste and provide an excellent service whatever the venue. I have two discos and 1 karaoke system available for any event.
Galaxy Roadshow is the name in mobile discos for Herefordshire & Worcestershire.
